What is Golden Milk?

Golden milk is a warm delicious creamy drink that includes a blend of Turmeric, Ginger, Cinnamon, a Dash of Pepper and Honey. By following these preperation directions below using the specific ratio of ingredients, you can create a very healing, warming and nourishing drink, right at home. This is one of my favorite things to make when I am not feeling well but know I need to eat, or want a filling but light liquid breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

2 c. of Coconut Milk / Raw Milk

1 tsp. of Turmeric (grated root / powder)

1 tsp. Ceylon Cinnamon

1/4 tsp. Fresh Ginger Roots (minced/grated)

Pinch of Black Pepper

Pinch of Cardamom (optional)

1/2 tsp. Raw Honey

 

Directions

• Warm up milk in a small pot on the stove

• Add all ingredients besides honey / sweetner

• Gently heat on low for 10 minutes

• Wisk occasionally and avoiding boiling

• After 10 minute slow cook, add honey / sweetner to taste

Drink within 15 minutes of serving for optimal nutrients
